The rusty bits falling off should make you faster, Karlos. ;)

Guess you need a stroker motor to shift all that filler

Back down the yard today. Pedal pan fettling, caster adjustment and a bit of chassis cleanup..

Pedal pan was slightly out of shape.

After a session with a 2lb lump hammer, a piece of 6" x 2" and a bench vice.

That's better.

Caster angle tweaked by adjusting the beam.

Then back home to refit the interior, again. :)

So this afternoon I said goodbye to the temporary curtains that have been in the bus for 6 years.
Nice new ones from VW Camper Curtains.

And then I decided to have a look at the damage caused by a heavy handed mate winding the window down.
"Cor, that's a bit stiff" he said, continuing to heave at the window winder....

Glass has come out of the lifter, so no big deal I'm thinking.

Gave it a bit of a clean up before reassembly.

Oh dear, looks like I'm on the hunt for a decent lifter now then.
Anyway, while it was all stripped, gave the door innards a clean and then a liberal dose of cavity wax.

After a pair of internal door escutcheons as well. Can only find Karmann Ghia ones at the moment, might have to try one to see if they fit.
