    Wheels

Hi all, a set of wheels have come up that I've been keeping an eye out for. They are 15'' but 4.5J. I think standard wheels are 5J. Ideally I'd like 5J or 5.5J on the back. Are there any downsides goIng 4.5J all round? Wide 5 '69 bay. Thanks Al

    Tyres/wheels/speedo reading

Finding this a little complicated to get my head round. Ideally I'd like my speedo to be as accurate as a 47 year old speedo can be. I have standard 14" wheels at the moment, if I go 185/55's on the front how does this affect the speedo reading? Thanks Al

    Camshaft knowledge

Hi, I had a 1914 engine built 3/4 years ago for my Danbury camper. It drives well but it drives best when flooring it, from 2000 rpm up. Looking into the spec now, it has an Engle 130 cam, which had now been advised not the best choice for a van. Having said that it cruises at 70 at 3500 rpm...

Noise from rear over 45 mph - thoughts please

Hi. I have a loud hollow/brrrrr (?) noise from the rear after 45 mph. A difficult noise to explain but sounds like a cross between an exhaust blowing and a drone. It's not s whining or grinding noise. It gets louder as you go beyond 50mph and is constant. I have also lost power to pull above...

If you want to sell your van......

put pictures up...... I can't believe how many people don't put pictures up yet wonder why their van takes ages to sell (or doesn't). Photobucket links often don't work properly. Just amazes me. At least one picture as a taster? Maybe someone could offer the service to do so if there's a...

    Battery/starting

The bus won't start..I charged my battery and it's reading 12.6v, the starter is turning but it is just spinning as though the solenoid is not kicking in. So it could be the solenoid, which would be my next course to check, but could it be the battery doesn't have enough oomph for the solenoid...
