    Earliest reg for a Crossover

    Need to check again on production date on M plate. she is the 8255th bus of 71 /72 model year which indicates august 71 build. So long since i checked M plate i've forgotten but pretty sure that is 1st August, shes wrapped up in her winter cover at the mo and i'm too lazy to go have a look...

    Earliest reg for a Crossover

    Mine is a 1st august 71 crossover, she was also type 4 engined, again must have been one of the first, always been fitted with a 1600 since i've had her but has the type 4 air filter brackets etc, no engine hatch though as the very early ones didn't have it fitted.

    Realistic price for a bus

    if you don't need a camper why don't you get a crewcab? As for prices, 2 - 3k seems to buy you a resto heap, 4k ish buys you a running resto heap, no buses cost 5k (fact, least in my perception :) ) 6k - 9k gets you something relatively nice but maybe needing a tiny bit of fettling. 10k - 12k...

    similar story, ordered bits, they sent me the wrong ones, returned them at my cost and have never seen the right one, he does a good line in ignoring you after a while, seems to be a friendly bloke with lots of m8's that will speak up for him, doesn't make for good business though.
