1972 crossover Needs tidying up. Runs well New starter motor New master cylinder last year I have had this 8 years now but time and old age have caught up with me. I would have loved to finish it but I just can’t. Looking for £9,000 Chelmsford Essex.

I have some of those corrugated heater tubes that go from the exchanger to the heating ducts. I took them off when I removed the engine. Now I can’t get them back on. Any ideas?

I just finished re tuning the carb and when I parked it on the driveway and turned the engine off the starter motor was still going with a loud screeching noise. I had to disconnect the battery to stop it ? What’s going on here? Can anyone help. Many thanks

Lost oil pressure on a steep short climb. All the oil leaked and I found a lot of it in the engine bay. Any ideas where to look first? I was going to try the o ring on the distributor first.

Just did a bit of a service on my 72 bay 1600 checked valve clearances to 0.15 the re set the timing. It idles nice and steady and pulls away ok, but as soon as I change to 2nd I lose acceleration. Did I do something wrong ?

I have a 72 bay crossover . Just discovered a wobble on the crank pulley. Further investigation showed sideways movement about 4-5ml on the crank shaft. What do I do now? Is it a full rebuild? If so where would I get that done or is it something simpler (he says in a rather optimistic manner)...

Got an oil leak on the engine. Being a novice I'm not quite sure where it's coming from. I've checked the sump plate and rocker covers, but it looks like it's coming from above or in the middle of the engine as its dripping down onto the bottom of the casing. Possibly towards the rear. Any...
