Watching the England vs Croatia match. 🤨

Oh well everything can’t go right. [emoji13]

Decided to add some extra storage space for accessories likes phones, sunglasses and coffee cups etc. I quite like the bambus style trays they look fun, but I went for the black ones as they look more factory and are a bit more practical. [emoji3]

I’m getting some rubber non slip lining for the trays to minimise any rattling sounds. The trays went on ok in the end although I found them to be slightly over sized by about 5mm so I had to cut the centre section to get them to fit together 🤨

Found a fitting guide on the Samba which helped a bit as there are no instructions or screws etc included with the trays.
I’ll try the Greggs coffee cup test another day [emoji38]

Nice holiday pics Mike, we’ve just done 1100 Miles
To Cornwall & back & a bit driving around in between!!
See you at SkegVegas 👍🏻

Under dashboard tray looks really ‘meant to be there always’ stock. If you know what I mean. Bamboo and net looks great, but an add on aesthetic quality that suits certain buses. Like those Hawaiin garlands, carved Mooneyes Tiki or Skull, billiard ball, grotesque carvings thingy-me-jigs. I love stock. I’m now considering this choice. Don’t want a rattling glove box. Cheers for this.

Thanks. I have waited a while before making my mind up on this one but eventually had to make a choice!
I’m not getting one of those shrunken heads to hang on the rear view mirror just yet [emoji23]

I have also replaced the OG flooring as it was looking a bit worn after 48 years.
I bought some similar flooring from NLA VW which looks good but it is not identical to the original pattern. I bought a one piece of 5x5 foot 6mm ply from Latham’s. Very expensive for what it is I thought. ( £56).
The lower piece of ply was in good condition so I kept that. (9mm thick )

Looking bang tidy :)

Thanks [emoji41]

Cambridge Folk fest was great as usual we always have a good time, and there is always something else on another stage if you want to move on from the one you’re watching. Boy was it hot though [emoji28] fortunately there was plenty of water available at free points. Our elder daughter joined us for Saturday [emoji3]

Heat got to Deb - the rear mozzie net was used for a bit of privacy, first time I have put it up for a long time.

Thanks DH. I am really pleased with it. Freshens the inside up a bit .

I’ve had the interior out four times altogether now , so I have a well practiced method that took 1 1/2 hrs last time [emoji28][emoji28][emoji13]

Hopefully that’s it for a while though.
