I've read a few things lately about steering box woe's, this got me thinking 
i got the feeling lately my steering felt slightly 'tighter'.
When i first bought the van 4 years ago i had a few urgent jobs done by a 'specialist', one was to adjust the steering box, i was informed they had filled it with grease, that why I've never checked it till today, had a job finding the red filler bung because there wasn't one !! ffs. Fortunately the hole was 'plugged' with grease, so i filled it with oil and plugged the hole with grease for now, i've ordered a new red bung from Schofield's, hope it comes pronto as i'm off to Dubs at the Castle on Thursday . Judging by the amount of oil i put in, it must have been virtually empty. Think I've caught it just in time,... hopefully. Hey Ho !
