Got the 71 back from the the bodyshop today. Looking great, very pleased. Also too the 72 over to start the body resto, so waved goodbye to that for a year...lol

lookin gud!! 8)
I'm currently looking for inspiration for my new un!!
Contemplating a full paint in white or 2 tone or patina look??
But I do think all white looks soo cool,!!!!

It's the OG colour Pastel White with same colour bumpers which was also OG from 71. Be careful with Pastel White though as there are at least 4 variants. The OG colour is the earliest variant.

Over the past few weeks I've: -

1. Fitted new wheel bearings front and rear
2. Replaced all the hard brake lines. Flexibles were replaced when I first got the van
3. Replaced all 4 CV joints
4. Gearbox - New input shaft oil seal, New rear bush and hockey stick bush, new gear linkage coupling.
5. New rear swing arm bushes

So this weekend I bled the brakes, fitted the gearbox and drive shafts

Had a bit of a break from working on the van but this enabled me to get the wiring loom ordered and delivered, so today I started linking and labelling the whole loom to the fuse board, ignition switch etc. Very productive day.
