VOLKSWORLD - 25th Birthday Party
VolksWorld has been reporting on the world of aircooled VWs for the last two and a half decades and, to celebrate, we are having a party at Brands Hatch motor racing circuit in Kent on Thursday September 20th 2012. So why not come and join in our celebrations, meet up with some old mates and make new ones, too. It's FREE to get in (you need to buy your own food and drink), and we have lots of things going on to keep you entertained. The party starts at 15.00hrs, so make sure you arrive early and finishes around 23.00.

Entry to the event is free and, although you can just turn up on the night, we ask you to register in advance to help us with the organisation. What's going on?
Photo opportunity on the start / finish straight.
We will be lining up as many air-cooled VWs on the main straight at Brands Hatch as we can for a once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity that will then be made into a poster and be given away free with the December 2012 issue of VolksWorld. Positioning of cars commences at 17.00 so make sure you arrive in plenty of time.
Music in The Kentagon Bar
The Vision Tech Beats band, well known in VW circles, will headline our indoor entertainment, backed up by DJ Louis Newbury. Music will be from 17.00 to 23.00. A pay for bar and reasonably priced food will be available all evening.
Cool Flo
Cool Flo will be bringing their fine collection of Buses and laying on entertainment suitable for a warm summer evening. They always put on a good show, so make sure you stop by and say hello.
Drive ‘n' Shine
We always love to see great cars being driven to events, so we will be
picking the best cars out for an award. There's no need to enter, just
turn up, and if you find a sticker on your car, your VW will be one of the
Winners! You may even win Raddest Ride.
How low can you go?
Our laser measuring man will be out and about checking how low your ride is. You could win the award for Sickest Slam or Asphalt Assassin!
