Right - that's us all packed and ready for the off early doors tomorrow!

Plan of action is as follows
Leaving Lincoln 0530
First stop is planned at M1 Watford Gap services meeting up with Mr and Mrs Foz,
Folkstone for the Le shuttle
Calais
Belgium via Adlinkerke for "supplies"
SPA,
Then off to Germany and Switzerland after the show for a couple of weeks!

Going to be epic - can't wait

Will upload photos and our exploits when we can find suitable wifi

That sounds really cool! Where are you going in Switzerland?
Best regards from Switzerland=)
Reto

Well that's Spa finished for another year!
Had an epic amazing time! Have never experienced anything like it

Off into Germany tomorrow and a proper campsite!

Now all camped up in Southern Germany having a beer - off to Black Forest tomorrow!
Will get some pics up when we arrive there unfortunately the ones of spa will have to wait as they are on our camera.

I am sure Foz will upload plenty when he arrives home - and some very cool go pro footage.

Now all camped up in the deep Black Forest region very close to the Swiss border
Amazing views and surroundings

Another day here tomorrow and then off to somewhere different

Just for you Stu and Clare :p
Enjoy!

On a more sad note, I lost ALL other GoPro video footage of the show due to file corruption :(
A common cause due to not using the correct/recommended SD card apparently!
A Hard lesson learnt!

Well we have finally made it back home after a long day of driving!
Going to get some washing on, food ordered and will then have a crack at posting some pics

All ready for us to wash the bus tomorrow, repack and head off to Viva Skeg Vegas!
Today we have managed - Belgium, France, Tunnel, Lincoln!

Not a single breakdown all trip, used over a litre of oil and thats about it other than the obvious fuel stops!
Think we have done over 2500 miles since leaving for SPA 2 weeks ago so not too shabby

Right beer on!

Excellent stuff Stu! glad your back safely, and without incident! :)
See you at VWfest........oh wait yeh, your goin to Viva SkegVegas! ;)

Look forward to seeing your pics.....don't be like me and drag your heels getting pics up! 8)

Right here are the pics of our epic trip

It all started 2 weeks ago with a bit of planning and some cleaning

Some long steep climbs on the Belgium roads - put Murphy (and me) to the test

Bit of a needed pit stop after I cooked my brakes and got too hot - little bit of oil and half an hour chilling down and everything was good again. Foz didnt have an issue with his drums, I have since moderated the way in which I was applying them to prevent fade again

We didnt realise the absolute lack of signage for the track and the fact it has several different entrances so when we happened across an empty lot near one of the main entrances we bedded down for the night after a long day (12hrs) of driving.

Misty morning and pretty chilly but we only had a short distance to go - we hoped before arriving at the correct entrance

Our saviours were ragging around - must have been packing large engines due to their rate of acceleration and pace, they led us to the correct entrance for the show

It is Heebee, lugged it all across Belgium and back, and never once used it, lol.
