Hi all,

Don't suppose anyone of you brilliant people could tell me the right kind of long shift rod (that connects to the front rod with a collar and grub screw) I need for my 1971 (aug 70 build date) bus could you? The one I have is a bit knackered and looks like its been modified slightly. The bus was fitted with a Porsche 5 speed box before it was shipped over here.

The one I have is 174.5cm long and bends very slightly up at the end gearbox end. Ive been told that 68-71 years are the same, 72 was a one year only one and the 73-79 is a different length because of the 091 box.

If some one could confirm if the one I have is the right one, it would be very much appreciated.

Cheers

Giles
