I've fitted a CSP brake kit and have a problem with the front flexi hoses. When the bus is on stands and the weight is off the front suspension the front hoses are preventing the wheels from being turned to more than half lock, even when the bus is off the stands the hoses look too short. The hoses that came with the kit are 300mm long, the original drum hoses fitted to the bus are 400mm but they look too long to be fitted with the calipers. Just wondered if anyone else had had this problem? The bus is a 69 RHD Australian and is different to uk and American buses in some places.
P.s Machine 7 sell front hoses for a disc beetle that are 355mm long and male/female ends, are there any reasons they wouldn't work?
