Afternoon everyone

I have an Early bay full roof cut which I'm selling, I've been asked if it will fit a 79 late bay, I thought it wouldn't but I thought I'd ask so I could let them know

Thanks Dan

I can't see any reason why not. I fitted a 72/73 roof to my Early and the new roof came off a van with toaster type air vents. I can't guarantee it but I'd be surprised if there was any difference. I know the Brazilian types are a little different as in the roof panel is taller. Get to a show and get your tape out.
Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,, and if it's just a cut

Hi, I would say it depends on how they are going to do the transplant.
I"ve recently fitted a late westy roof to my early bay. The roof skin itself is the same, there are differences in the cross braces, most noticeably at the rear with the tailgate hinge mountings.
If they are going to drill out the spot welds in the gutter and just swap the skin it will be the same.
Cheers
Dave
