I am buying some second hand wheels for my 1971 US BUS. Mine have a circle hole where the hub nut goes -

The ones forsale have a curvy edge -

Does this matter and will they fit? Just wondering if there was different size/fitting wheels for different buses over the years?

I bought a set for my 72 and they had the curvy hole. They fitted fine but I had also noticed this. Looks to me like there were a couple of different runs maybe from different factories but I don't know for sure.

There should be a date stamped on them between the bolt holes.
I have a selection of wheels on both my bay and T25. A couple of the flower shaped centre ones are date stamped 4/74 (most are 80's though), while the round hole ones are all either 71 or 72.
