Breakdown cover

Hi I have not had breakdown cover for a few years as it was included with my cars warranty. Now I'm running my bay and not so new and reliable I'm looking for breakdown cover but not sure who to go with.
Anyone got any recommendations?

Been with the AA for years, called them out a couple of times with no problem, the good thing about the AA is that you are the member not the vehicle, so if you are in someone else's car or van you can still use them, may be not the cheapest around but probably the best.
Heard some bad feedback about Green Flag they say they will be with you within one hour but they send someone from a local garage to be there within the hour but if you need to get home or moved somewhere the tow truck takes hours to get to you (my mate waited over 6 hours for them to turn up) it's just a con to make you sign up

I've been with RAC for a few years now, personal cover like above. Most stand alone break down coverers won't cover vehicles older than 15/20 years on a vehicle only policy hence personal cover.

Called them out a few times, always been with me within about 30 mins, and took about 30 mins more once for the proper tow truck when my beetle broke down.

Currently got RAC cover and also cover through Adrian Flux because there's included EU cover (I type this from a campsite in Luxembourg!) and the equivalent RAC cover was significantly more.
