68 door handles and locks

The door handles on a 68 are different to later buses but is the lock mechanism different as well? Struggling to find doors for my 69 and contemplating going all 68 as I can easily get doors for that year.

The lock mechanism and doors have the relevant lever / hole to take a push button lock, rather than the little locking lever that sits underneath the internal door opening handle. This also means that the internal handle is different - not sure if the surround for it is also.
