I got a flat yesterday and discovered to my cost the wheel nuts that fit my alloys (14x1.5x35mm deep) are not deep enough to tighten the steel spare into the hub.

I assume this size nut but deeper than 35mm are available but can’t seem to track them down, called Heritage Parts but they didn’t know..

Any help or links to web shop appreciated.

Is the problem that your nuts are too short or are your studs too long? I believe the recommendation is a minimum of 7 turns on a nut / bolt to provide adequate wheel support - how many do you have?

If the studs can’t be trimmed, maybe the option is to carry a slip-on spacer when using the spare, or switch back to using bolts (but ensure a long bolt + a steel wheel doesn’t mean the bolt will extend too far out of the other side and foul on and brake / hub parts).
