Good luck with the resto - when it gets going stick some pics up 8)

Hi, yes more photo's as you get it sorted. Must admit have never seen a twin slider early bay, very rare :D

Hi Lethal,

Nice find - looks like you have a few weekends work there :)

I agree, they are rare beasts - especially RHD!!! However, there are a few early twin-sliders (or double-doors) around, and this thread has a few of them on it: http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=781&start=0

And don't forget this lush clipper: http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6115

The CoolVW (Holland) also have one for sale at the moment: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=578789

Keep us informed as to how the resto goes :)

Cheers,

Mike

now thats a project! sounds like you have a cool garden! good luck with the resto, and keep us all posted. we love pics!!

hope your sliding door tracks and in good order as after just fitting one. i dont envy the guy who has to fit two of the buggers. thats a few crazy bugs youve had

the only double sliders I've ever seen were all follow-me busses used at airports.
I remember that thecoolvw had one 4 sale a while ago.
U got a BIIIIIG project ahead of you but it'll be worth it.
