Refurbishing my solex

Anyone got any ideas as to where I can send my carb for a refurb? Tried various places but having trouble with either cost or (main issue) time. I have tried the following:
Gower and lee - 2 months waiting
Carb exchange ltd Leighton buzzard - at least 1 month
Laurie Ellis - not working at the moment
Cog box - quite expensive

I having to resort to enquiring with motorcycle carb specialists.

There is a guy in Clacton -roger ball apparently but have not have chance to try him yet.

Should say that the spindle is worn so needs more than just a clean and service kit. I have also tried the pop in bushes from eBay and it doesn't seem to have solved the problem.

Any ideas?

i recommend Steve at Gasure in Chester too - for the spindle bushing renewal as well as refurb

Thanks for the offer dale. Looks like guy in chester wants you to take the van to him though. Might bite the bullet and send it off to Peter at cog box after some good reviews.
