What a fun day....
Removed engine and transmission today, but had a problem with a rounded cv bolt. Anyway, managed to sort that out eventually, by using a Dremel.....
Query is, all 3 of my bolts from moustache bar to casing were all loose. After realising and checking, they all pulled straight out and one is partially snapped off, with the other 2 having worn threads.
This means the casing is going to need re-tapping.
Is it do-able? Any issues over doing it? What's the best way?
I may take to a garage to do, as I've never done one before.
