Poptop canvas trim

I've got a 69 Danbury poptop roof with no canvas and the trim is missing that holds the canvas to the metal part of the roof. All that's left are the holes on the metal roof section where someone obviously took the trim off when taking the canvas off. My question is does anyone know where I can get the trim from and if the trim can be fixed into the existing holes that are there instead of making more regards Andy

I think the trim you refer to was aluminium rail. You should be able to find something suitable and cut it to length. To use the original holes it's simply a case of taping it in place just next to the holes and then carefully marking each location to drill your new rail.
