Is it a problem if the bay I want to buy is a different colour to its DVLA records?

I would check all the chassis and engine numbers. If it's a stolen van you won't want to part with your cash.
On the other hand it may have been painted and not put on the log book.

Do your due dilligence checks on the van anyway, as you should but no, it probably isn't a big problem.
