VW Classic 2010

Once again I attended the VW Classic in Irvine , California. This is one of my favorite shows and even though I was still unpacking from my holiday , I couldn't miss this show.
I got there a bit late 6:30am and had to leave early 1:30pm due to a commitment but I was still able to sell some , buy some and take some pictures.
Lots of people showed up and of course lots of quality VW's were there.
Spoke to people from the UK , Germany , Netherlands , Mexico and saw some Japanese and Australian folks as well , here are the pictures.

bud i was there and it was ace i have loads of pics i did pomona the week before too.then dkp cruise nite the octo and the classic.wow it was fantastic.post pics up when i get home still in anaheim at mo coming down to san d tomorrow 4 the day,

Nice to hear you had a good time Rusty , sorry I missed you , I got home from holiday in Mexico City the day before so I did not have time to go online and look for you , I'm back to work so hope you have a good time here in Cali , it sound like you already did.

Before and after bettle from West Coast Metric

Gee some mighty fine autos there,still cant help but notice that the early bay doesnt seem that popular over there compared to Europe,prob cos theyre all over here already !!!!!

You are right , they are not as popular as the splits and a lot of people are into bettles here in California , when I sell parts at this events most of my parts are bought by european buyers shipping parts for resale mostly in the UK.
There are a lot of baywindows here but they don't get fixed up as much as splities do.

Wow what a show !!! and what an amazing line up of VW's. I lost count of the number of times I said to myself I'd love to own that, thanks for posting up so many cool photos for us to drool over 8)

It would be nice to be able to afford one of those crewies , they were asking $18,500 for that blue baywindow crewcab :shock:

some incredible cars and buses. :shock:

i love the before and after bug, must have been very difficult to get it just so.

Bays are really undervalued here in the States. I think that when people come around to it, it'll be too late as all the sweetest buses are being sold overseas. Prices will eventually be similar to what Splits cost- maybe as soon as five years from now.

I'm glad I got in while the gettin' was good! :lol:
