What is this part?

Hi all,

I have recently purchased a 1971 bay and am in the process of putting her back together.. it didn’t come with all parts so I am slowly sourcing them...

There is one specific part that I have seen a picture of on eBay, but have no idea what it is... can anyone shed any light on what it is please... pic attached from eBay of the door part in question...

that holds the sliding door open so it doesn't slide shut by accident, I have a spare if you need one
