Has anyone successfully converted their microbus middle row of seats to fold down flat with rear bench to make a bed. Looking at it earlier today and it looks feasible with a little fabrication. Was going to go down the Z bed hinge route originally but to be honest they look a bit Heath Robinson.

This is my set up. It is easier to do it with last row of seats. Only problem is that i need arround five minutes to make conversion to bed but i didnt wont to make r'n'r bed becouse i wont to keep it original. Everything you need for this conversion is a few wood mounts.

Z bed hinges are the way to go but I would recomened a blow up or memory foam matress on top.

use a microbus rear seat and Z hinges, just use a air bed to level it out, quite comfortable.
