Hi everyone,

A pretty basic question but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere...

How do I remove the engine bay bulkhead / firewall?

I have taken the screws out from the sides and bent back the clips at the top but can't get it to budge. It appears to be stuck fast along the bottom edge - the section that runs along above the gearbox.

Should I be pulling it away from the top edge first (over the bent back clips) and pulling it up and out, or should i be pulling it away from the bottom edge first, pulling it down and out?

Any help would be appreciated

Paul

there are 2 screws into the bottom edge of the firewall, driven up from under the chassis girder there, at each end of the panel - have you removed these? the panel should then lift up into the upper channel then be pulled out from the base and then down...hopefully

cheers
Rob
