i am searching (with no luck) for pictures where I can see how to route copper brake pipes. I have drum brakes and no servo. 1969 model (late 68) especially the rear pipes routing from master to the rear
i have sadly not taken photos of this detail when I dismantled the bus.

Mines a 1970 Otto. I’ll probably have a chance to look and take a picture or two tomorrow morning. Any areas specifically, and I’m assuming the 1970 is the same layout.

I’ll have another go tomorrow but I’ve only got a few pictures as I left it too late and didn’t have my overalls on, would also maybe better on a ramp because my big belly was getting in the way of my iPad :ROFLMAO:

Mine looks to have been changed somewhere along the line Otto. Not sure how much difference but I’d bet the master cylinder is possibly in a different place as mine is RHD , is yours LHD if you’re over in C Hagen?
The more I look at mine now, the more I’m disappointed and also surprised that I hadn’t noticed before. I can also see empty clips that I assume would once have held my rigid pipes and quite short on grommets too.

Great stuff. Looked at your master, and is it right seen, that the left front brake pipe is fitted on the right side of the master cylinder, and vice versa.

Yes, that was the best fitment for the hard lines I had.
The hard line to the rear goes over the top of the front beam and is fixed to the inside of the longitudinal chassis rail (you should be able to see the fixing holes for the pipe clips along the chassis rail) and exits through the crossmember to join the T piece as the pic below.

Some pics of the front on mine from a couple of years ago.
Didn't get any of the rear.
The Goodridge flexi pipes have a shallower fitting than the O.G ones.
When making the front ones through the chassis, have the flexi's in place to check length before swaging/bending.

Hi. Actually on my car it is reversed. Se exploded picture of the master. The rear piston is for the front brakes. 🙃
