    Wrong rear bumper irons

    Just bought a used rear bumper, the bumper irons are way too short, whereas the bolt hole in the iron furthest away from the bumper picks up on the first hole in the chassis. Mine is a 69, could the irons possibly be crossover ones ?

    Steering wheel - early or late

    The steering wheel on my 69' was 'wobbly', the nut was tight, so removed the wheel, inside the steering wheel there are no splines just been hacked at, am I right in saying this is a late bay steering wheel ? and therefore probably had the hole enlarged so that it fit on the early bay column.
