    Where does this piece of tinwear go?

    Excellent all makes sense now cheers fellas. I imagine it is to stop anything of any reasonable size falling into the bottom tin under the pully and jamming it while you are driving. It's a total guess so am provably wrong

    Gear linkage bushes

    Thanks Karl that was my theory as to what it was but I could not fit it over the guide rod and it didn't seem to marry up with the white bush fitted inside the coupling
