WILL BE FOR SALE AT VW WHITENOISE EUSTON PARK THETFORD 1st - 3rd Aug .
£12,500 Ono
1971 Deluxe bay window for sale , pretty much a full restoration 4 years ago .
8000 miles on a new engine , lots of new parts , tyres brakes interior , paint some bare metalled etc .
More or less everything works fine on the van , we have maintained it regularly , and the mileage per year has been low , the van is ALWAYS parked in our barn not outside .
The only thing I can think of that does not work is the fuel gauge .
A local band recently used the van for a photoshoot , hopefully that will spur them into future success !
It's been used for a few proms also , always attracting lots of attention .

We imported the van early 2010 , with the idea to run it in the original paint ( niagria blue / pastel white ) , which was sort of ok on the blue and repaint the white . After repainting the white the blue looked awful so we stripped right back and had it painted in a booth .
The chassis has been sandblasted to bare metal , the minor rot issues dealt with and primed and chassis blacked , finally waxoiled every year .
We have a bunch of pictures of the restoration , just click the photobucket link .
The m codes read that the van came off the production line in Germany on Thursday 23rd July 1970 , making it a 1971 model , which was the year disc brakes etc .
Mot till. 30/10/2014
Historic tax till 31/10/2014
I will get a full mot for the new owner if wanted .
Driven from Norwich to Brighton several times , camperjam in Shrewsbury etc , camped at Latitude , various camp trips .
Selling to put a split on the road .
Based near Norwich airport .
