Well I can only say thank you The Freddy files and Ninove!
Wow....what a show, event and weekend. I can't wait until next year now.
Why can't we as a country run any events like this?
Thanks to Sparky, Clem and Karlos for the tips about the weekend. We did the cruise down from Bonjour services...
Mate of mine has moved down to Exeter with his crossover hightop and doesn't know anyone down there. Any garages/businesses people could point in him the direction of for when he gets a bit stuck doing jobs on his own?
Just looked at booking tickets on Chunnel.......£258 out and £258 back!! Does this seem the norm or am I just being tight!? £516 to get to France.
3 of us are flying out to Germany return in April for the Techno Classic in Essen for a lot less. Have prices shot up that much worldwide?
Thanks Clem. Don't partake in social media, this is the furthest I have gone! My cousin who I am going with does I think, will nudge him to have a look.

Cheers Sparky.
I suppose everything has sky rocketed recently with prices going up on everything.
My cousin is 50 next year so we fancied a road trip in our Buses. Was thinking of the Car Show at Essen in March/April ( been 3 times before, brilliant show) but thought if we were that way...
Anyone on here driven their Bus to Wolfsburg? Is it worth it, any idea of rough costs ( tolls, fuel, museum admission, camping)? Any adivce would be great.
Hi Leon,
Came last night, still haven't met you! Asked around at the Pre '79 meet at Penkridge for you too.......an elusive man!
Wasn't in the Bus last night had a run out in my Notchback.
Good show of cars last night.
Thanks Mike.
It is a removable top, 2 person job. The car had been in a lock up from 2000 up until 18 months ago, so a lot of re-commissioning has been done over the last 12 months. Interior hasn't all been done yet and it would have been a nightmare to drive with loose panels and trim...
