So an update - although communication was pretty inconsistent, Lanner at vdugengineering sent over a set of the spacers.
Next questions to those who have fitted the spacers...were the spacers a tight or loose fit? The set of spacers I have from Lanner are quite a bit smaller than the outer...
unfortunately, its only the spacers I need - not the whole kit. Don't really want to be paying for the whole kit when it sounds like I just need a pair of bearing spacers
Thanks mate. I checked out the website and couldnt easily find it, so pinged them a message to ask.
I also came across vdubengineering who seem to do alot of this kind of stuff. any ideas if they're still operating?
Does anyone know where I can source just the wheel bearing hub spacer that's required for fitment of 944 hubs onto front spindles please?
The spacer that is placed between the inner and outer wheel bearing to match the distance of a standard hub.
Cheers

Good memory!
Naa we're still over in Melbourne, suburb of Altona to be specific.
We're currently back visiting family with our 18month old. Everytime we visit my dad harps on at me to sell my last few bits that are in his garage haha....like the biggest hoarding problem they have are few vw...
I think there may be a difference on these pans between earlybays and crossovers onwards. 1967-1971 and 1972-1979.
I remembered nomorerustybits.com selling fibreglass ones and they sell ones for 1972 onwards which appear to be the same as mine...
Yet they still stock a part that they have "complained about the quality" many times before.
What a joke. I bet they didnt advertise its a shit quality
