Fitting a lhd master cylinder to a rhd 68 bay

My bus has a futbus disc brake conversion at the front but one is binding a bit. The Caliper is not seized and the brake hose is a quality braided one which doesn’t seem blocked. I can only try renewing the master cylinder but apparently you have to buy a lhd one and alter the pipe work ? 😬...

    68 driveshaft hub nut query

Hmm the thread of the nut is knackered too so I thought it might be difficult to get a match. I'll have to measure the diameter with a set of Verniers perhaps that will give me a clue. Thanks for the replies tho

    Rear seat belt advice.

Yeah any more pics of what you've got would be great ;) . I am aware that the westy interior requires a bit more creativity (seen pics) but if i can do my devon setup with a much simpler arrangement that would be better. Yours in anticipation. James

    Crossover rear light retaining nuts

The nuts you need are probably going to be 5mm metric nuts (m5 nuts), these will probably be available from Halfords in their nut and bolt multipack section but not cheap. Try your local motor factor and take the light fitting with you to ensure you get the correct size put pretty sure it will...

    Tools for electrical work

Hi a basic crimping tool from Halfords will be ok but not brilliant. The ratchet type crimping tools are the best but are around £40-£60 to buy, i've got one of these and it has paid for itself over the years, the wires tend not to pull out of the crimps so easlily with this type too. As for...

    Rear seat belt advice.

Thanks for the input, are these seat belts two point? ie' just the one point below the rear seat and one below the rear window?. If so do i need the inertia reel type and fit the reels below the rear window?. I've had a look at the JK website and can only see the front seatbelt kits for...

    Rear seat belt advice.

Hello all, i spent all morning trying to fit a middle cab seat and lap belt to my bus only to find it really isnt practical, my partners head would probably end up hitting the windscreen if we ever had a bump :? . Therefore i guess the only option is too fit a couple of seatbelts in the rear...

    Ignition... (or lack of it)

Check you have 12 volts at the coil plus terminal with the ignition switched on first. Check the points are set correctly too, if they dont open/close there will be no spark ;)

Got mine from creative, they were about £200 quid, well made and pleased with the results, they come supplied with new torsions bushes, so dont do what i did and buy an extra set in addition to the kit
