Hi All

Tried Looking for a past blog covering this but can't find anything .

So Have a US Spec 69 SC which has had the indicators converted to UK spec , indicators work fine but the hazards don't so I'm guessing its a switch or wiring issue.

So indicator lights (conversion)have had a separate cable connected from the Brake MC to the rear of the vehicle

Having traced all the wiring from the Hazard switch below is what I've found, switch type is 11953235D this matches the from Aug 69 wiring diagram on thesamba

SW
+ White cable -> 49 on Hazard Flasher relay
15 BLK -> Fuse 1
30 Red -> fuse 7
49a Blue -49a on Hazard Flasher relay
54 Green - Connector block to Black/orange (Brake MC?)
54f BLk / Purple - indicator stalk

So 3 questions: has this been converted correctly @ Hazard switch? If not where to start looking and changing? is there a method of testing the switch?

As always any help greatly appreciated

Cheers

Below is the US-version wiring. Your Hazard Switch should have nothing connected to its terminals #54 and #54f.
The red wire on terminal #30 should connect to a fuse that is always hot.
The black/purple wire from the turn signal switch assembly should be taped off and not connected.
