I was going to refurbish the carburettor on my 1600 twin port with a refurb kit but saw that Machine 7 are fully refurbishing original Solex units.
My spindle has slight play so thought this might be a better option - has anyone had experience of these? Are they as good as they sound? The cost v the cost of the refurb kit could be an expensive mistake if no significant benefit.
Can anyone advise someone who could re-bush the spindle and service my existing unit? I'm in Berkshire.
