I may need a brake servo on my 1971 1600 twin port and it appears that the Brazilian option is far cheaper than a direct replacement. Apparently, the Brazilian unit requires some drilling and fettling to fit. So ...

Are these as good as the direct replacements?
How much of a pain are they to fit?

Thanks

I fitted one 8+ years ago and it's still working just fine...hopefully not cursed it now!
I think you just have to elongate the mounting holes, nothing too taxing...not sure as was too long ago.
Cheers
