Hi all as the title says really could somebody please explain how the sliding door latch works..
I've managed to open the sliding door by taking the 2 bolts out of latch keep. It locks and un locks and the handles work but from what I can see the hook bit doesn't lift up to release door from the keep because there's a little bar above it that's not sliding back into the lock mechanism when I push it in the latch works ok but when I close the door the little bar slides out but then won't return again unless I push it.
