I’m wanting to replace my fuel pump block off and replace it but with one with a 90 degree fitting for the breather.

The problem is once the block off plate is in place there isn’t enough room to add the fitting. I can add this first to the block off plate and slip it over the studs but then there isn’t enough clearance because of the dizzy.

Rather that remove the dizzy is there any issue with removing the studs, putting the plate in place then reinserting the studs and finally the nuts ?
