I have put a new floor pan in from jk. It has a set of holes near the rear tub. Were they originally there on early bays or were they put in for later vans which this is adapted from?
Thanks

Pretty sure my 71 has them in these locations, it was a microbus - not sure if that makes any difference?

I like the idea of drain holes, if I fitted pans then I would make sure there are drain holes in. I also am now of the opinion that as I go around the van repairing any body panels near the famous six inches and that includes sills and doors, that I will add drainage holes every foot or so and treat them because VW did this on later models and it works bettererer plus it gives you access points to chuck some wax in if you get over excited. You can’t stop all the water getting in, but you can be a gentleman and gracefully let it out.
