Going to drop the engine over winter. Haven’t done it in a while. What size is the D bolt top right of engine? The one that goes through starter motor. Also any tips on removal? Open spanner docket etc. Cheers

17mm(I think) I use a ratcheting spanner and next door neighbours arm as mine won't fit past the carb. Also find it helps if you hold the bolt in place from underneath especially when tightening

The van is in work at the moment so nip out to the garage and snatch a quick half hour now and then. Disconnected wiring and removed flexi hoses from heat exchangers. Undone bolt top right of engine as you look at it. Going to remove other 3 bolts fri afternoon and clamp fuel lines. Job done
