Front beam compatibility

Hi all
Chris from OZ here (first post too!)
I have a 71 kombi and was wondering if a 69 or 74 beam will bolt up and fit correctly
Looking at buying one of the above to lower,just want to make sure before i commit

afaik, early bay beams are all the same in terms of bolt pattern (where you attach the beam to body). Wouldn't know about post '71 though. Probably best to take some measurements first.

A 74 beam will fit, but a 69 will not.

As Clem stated, they changed the bolt pattern in august '69. Anything after that will fit, don't forget that if you have servo brakes you'll need a servo mount.
