Hi,I may now be selling my rhd 69 deluxe and if I do I will have one which could be available very soon.

It's a stock 1600 with alloy empi bolt on rocker covers

Bus mounts.standard oil pump ,single carb.Altenator.

Came out of a beach buggy which had been layed up for a few years
and apparently it was a previously rebuilt motor.

I've heard it running on a bell housing test mount with gravity fed fuel tank.

As It had a electric fuel pump it has a mechanical fuel pump blank.
I have a good pump and pump pedestal and pump pushrods to revert it back to a standard fuel setup.

I am not joking when I say it runs sweet with great oil presure ,
Comes with alternator and I can report the charge lamp went out right away.

Has a standard beetle exhaust with rough heat exchangers.
There not brilliant but served a purpose of hearing it run at the time.
It had a new set of exhaust/heat exchanger studs all round as the originals where a little rough

It also had a new crankshaft oil seal and a new clutch just before I bought it.
The tappets where set.

Doesn't look anything special,I must admit.
It does look a bit grubby, tin wise etc but it's a really great runner

I bought it from a retired VW specialist who ran a very successful VW shop In Liverpool.
Which is still in business I gather.

He is still passionate about aircooled vws and still owns some to this day.

It was bought as a spare for my 69 deluxe,I am likewise passionate about my vdubz and I wanted it just in case I ever needed to drop my 1776 motor for repair or service etc.

I may be soon letting my show winning 69 deluxe go as I can no longer look after it due to ongoing illness, therefore it could soon be available.

It's been sat on my workbench since the day I bought it.
I've not looked at it,I just know it's there.
Just in case I ever needed it.

Your welcome to have a look or I'll arrange some pictures

It's 800 notes if you can pick it up or courier charges would need to be covered.

Like I say,not i am not in a rush to sell it but if your stuck, there's one here,

thanks t
