love the red tin-top at full height with the roof tent and groovy graphics! great pics!

Me too, cool to see something completely different. Would like to see what it's like in one of those tents, you wouldn't want to fall out of that pissed-up!

Well, half term trip to Belgium with the family, got a Eurotunnel crossing on Friday after school and drove from Calais to Nieuport on the coast. Spent 3 nights in the bus at a site we stayed at last year, plenty of room, really nice shower blocks, on site bar with Jupiler on tap at €3 a pint. Plenty for the kids to do as well.

Jumped on the tram into Nieuport the next morning, there's a beautiful sand beach and a long promenade with numerous bars and restaurants. Had a spot of lunch and checked the Jupiler again, just to make sure it was still alright.

Back to the site for a BBQ with a beautiful sunset.

Further up the coast the following days was a show with some pretty flash motors, old but mostly new.

On day 3 we drove north to De Haan, a lovely little town again with a beautiful beach.

Then onto Sunparks, the European version of Centre Parks. The weather forecast for the last / days of the trip was showers so we booked in here as it had a great pool with loads of water slides and things for the kids indoors. As it turned out, we had a thunderstorm and rain the first night and it was great again after that.

Back to Calais late afternoon to stock up on beer and wine, had an hour to kill before our crossing so time for a quick Aperol Spritz in the sun. The bus ran like a dream and the new stroker motor has made a big difference when we're all loaded up. Another happy holiday, Alive and V Dubbing next...

Alive and V Dubbing at Haughley Park last week, met our friends up there and smashed through a load of beers and a few barbecues. It's a show we've been to for 4 or 5 years now and thoroughly enjoy, lots of nice cars, and plenty for the kids to do.
Base camp: the green bus club...

And my new interior turned up, just got to take out the old stuff, soundproof the bits that haven't been done and then fit it, went for a light grey to match the original Dormobile units and compliment the green paint...

Headed off to Volksweald on Friday afternoon for the weekend, it’s the second year of the show and it’s at a cracking venue, just over an hour drive for us so local, it was busy and well organised from what i saw, and you got entry to the Manor House and gardens for £5 for a family, which would normally cost £32. Great to walk off a hangover. We went with friends and their T5, they’re first time camping, but our other friends from Norfolk got 30 miles from home and lost 4th so got a lift home on the big yellow taxi. Some great motors and a really good vibe, I hope people support it and it’s able to carry on. Having trouble loading photos, hopefully this works...

So my interior turned up a few weeks ago, I was planning to get it fitted straight away but that didn’t happen, so the last couple of nights has seen me trying to get it done before next weekends trip away.
Comfy though it was, the bed was ropey and had to be covered despite being steam cleaned...

I had to make a few of the panels as they weren’t available off the peg for Dormies...

Yes the buccies always have a few guys sitting in the back!
I love the Western Cape, lucky enough to go there fairly regularly for work and the people, the food, the scenery are all spot on.

Checked out Oh So Retro at the weekend, it’s not far from me and gets good reviews, real mix of motors and a nice location.

I was working in Italy last week, tend to base myself in Verona as it’s a lovely place and quite central to where I have to visit. Saw this wedding bus, looked nice and straight but had clearly had work done, the interior was mint...
