Lefty drives very nice! Had several oil leaks on the hoses between engine, external oil filter and thermostat . . . some nice spots on the driveway ;-)

Last week we've made our first holiday trip. Got the bay full packed up with lot's of campstuff and 2 happy little girls. My wife's driving behind me and called that there were some smoke at the back of the bus. I've took a quick look and it seams that one of the seals leaked. The smoke appears by dripping little drops of oil on the exhaust . . . the whole back of Lefty is greasy now ;-) Already replaced the seal, so hopefully there are no more leaks now.

Als got Lefty taxed for insurance, pretty guy and he rated the bus as much as I've put into. A new paint job wil raise the price a lot, but hey, I think it's cool like this (and I don't have the money for respray).

Did some sticker tuning also . . . the first A-team decal is installed! Also did some short term upgrading on the inside panels . . . wil take pics soon

Last month did some small things on Lefty. Made a simple carpet on the floor (little more soundproofing) and searched for the oil leak. The oil hose underneath the bus seems to be greasy. After all I've decided to bring it to a local specialist Oldtimerparts.nl. They checked the engine and oil calling system (it was the first time Lefty was in a 'real' garage). All hoses of the external cooling part where renewed and finally they adjusted the engine.

Last friday we drove with some friend to EBI6. We drove with 11 cars to Chimay, it really felt good to be on the road with friends. No troubles at all, only still some greasy back end . . . still a little leak somewhere but nothing big.

European BugInn6 was a very nice meeting. We build up our camp and enjoyed the nice cars, races and burn-outs and just relax with a beer and some good barbecue.

Sunday we leaved Chimay around 14 hrs and drove back trough a beautifull landscape. No pics, only from the last stop just before Antwerp. Cruised around 60 Mph on the highway, the last run to home we speeded a little up to 78 Mph. The bus drove really good, still had a oil leak but nothing big.

Yesterday I've inspected the engine in hot condition. Cleaned up the engine and took a quick drive. The oil leak is probably underneath the oil cooler. So next thing is to take out the engine ( :( ) and remove the cooling house to check it.
