We're neighbours - Mine was 15/2/'68!!

Just got a photo of the proper M plate - click on Autosignature for details!

Indeed - I see from the chassis numbers that they are 1133 UNITS apart - which got me wondering - I wonder if there are two adjacent chassis numbers still in existence and/ or known to the community? Or what the two known closest remaining ones are? :?

Good luck with that matey - unfortunately E was the 'short' year when they changed from Jan-Jan to Jan-Aug - hence I'm afraid E only ran until July 31st 1967. Sorry matey...

Aug '67 is an F. But you're still in good company!

I have 218012076.
Built 25th Aug 1967.
100% original paint "Neptune Blue" panel van. Fresh from California and here in Norwich!! In excellent condition!
Is this the oldest original paint panel van bay in the UK?

hello, the "european bug in" bus has chassis number 218 0000 67.

Hi
I have westy made 12 september 1967 so 67 with flat oppenning top very early.
And serial number from vin plate looks to be
8020491
It looks that car made exact 2 months later is more than 20 tausend number far.
They produced 10k a month or third digit "2" means something ?

I'm putting together an early bay register startiing with the first year of production...

Hi Tim, i am quite curious about your registry. :D
I visited the link that you submitted and registered there, but wasn't able to log-in to the forum.
Generally i have the impression that that forum there is very inactive - latest posts stated from 2017 or 2014..

But nevertheless i would be very interested in the list of the first year bays, to be more detailed 1968 models.

And just for info: I found a page on facebook - collecting info about early bays, built in the second half of 1967.
