Hi,
I have a 71 Early bay that I am having restored after many years good service/keeping on the road. I am trying to locate rear arches but the early rear arches are not flared enough and the late rear arches are too flared. One of the guys at Schofield mentioned that 71 Bays had one year only rear arches. Is this true? If so any idea about how to replace?!!!
Thanks,
Neil

Early 71 arches, that is for manufacture dates Aug 70 to Jan / Feb 71 have an arch which is flared but rounded rather than square like a late bay arch.

My van is an April 71 and has late bay arches (it's an unwelded original UK van). Have a look at radish's on here - I think he said its a Sep or Oct 70 - it has the early 71 rounded flare arch

Yes it's a bitch I had the same problem it's a 71 thing
I bought both inner and outer and used early, the inner wheel
Arches would not line up I think the reason was it had to
Be shape around the under side. I can send you some
Pics if it's any help pm me your mobile
