[QUOTE="SiDev, post: 599945, member: 20326"] Up for sale is my 100% reliable, rolling road tuned 1641 engine with twin 36 Dellorto carbs. Its turn-key, minus exhaust, the spec is: 1641 long block (with the 3 holes for an early bay) Engle 100 cam with standard heads from Steve Strong Engines New alternator from Machine 7 New Scat fan shroud from Machine 7, all tinware is gloss black Scat crank pulley, matching alternator pulley Polished oil filler and cap Twin Dellorto 36’s with proper Dellorto filters and covers Vac-advance distributor New clutch Bosch leads with new plugs Its only done 6,700 miles No end float, obviously, and no oil leaks This has been in my early bay for just over 3 years. After running in for 500 miles it was taken to Andy at BD Engineering who set it up on his rolling road, achieving 76bhp and 92lb/ft of torque (with print out to verify). It has always started first time and has never let me down. Earlier this year it took me to EBI and just a few months ago on an 850 mile road trip around France, Holland and Belgium, never missed a beat. There’s more detail on my thread “Buddy the bus”, and I took a video of it running just before it was removed should you want to see. Price is £1750 or very nearest offer, that’s for a decent, proven, reliable motor that’s been set-up properly and looked after, so please don't low-ball me silly offers. If it doesn't go I will keep it until spring and then re-advertise. Happy to answer any questions you may have, and you're welcome to come and see it. I'm in Kent.
