Hello All,
Another spring has sprung and ergo, another sender unit has died in the tank over winter.... now, as a rule I buy the £30 - £40 ones as I expect them to die. This time I am thinking of the £80 number, in the hope of getting two years out of it... so my question is: what do you have in your tank that you would recommend or, is there another option bar a note-pad and calculator in the glove box....

Well, I`ve got the original one, so I`m guessing if you trawl the likely suspects like FBI and NOSVW etc and try and get an original one.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,You might not break that one  ;)

Did exactly the same, £40 failed and £80 been going 3 years. None of them ever give full scale, but that's just being picky
If you still the original one you could replace the resistance wire.
