Hi and thanks for looking at my 1988 Porsche 924S Finished in guards red with Porsche logo trim. I purchased my Porsche last December after looking at loads of tired 924's and 944's. The previous owner had only had it a few months and lost his garage space and didnt want to leave it out side over winter so he opted for a more modern car. It has been used as an everyday runner and weekend fun car. But we have decided to buy a VW camper so one of my toys has to go and the Porsche is worth the most money so reluctantly its up for sale. It has had 6 previous owners and comes with loads of old bills, MOT's and original book pack and spare key. This was previously sold by Spinning Wheel classics in Chesterfield (advertised for £6500) A great feature with the car is the private plate which is included, PAS924S. This was fitted to the car 24/5/91 with a purchase price of £499. Originally registered on a E plate. It has nice features which enthusiasts will love like Merlin Porsche Chesterfield plates, tax disc holder and rear window sticker. Mileage at present is 64,384 and may increase as still in use. I have old MOT,s going back to 1990 which showed 34,271 miles. The mileage has increased between 1000 and 2000 miles a year so nice and genuine. Cambelt, balance belt and tensioner fitted at 50k and various other bills show parts replaced and services carried out but history for later years is less than earlier years. Oil and filter change done when purchased and a new battery fitted. V5 is present and in my name, MOT to August 2014 and taxed to January 2014. Unlike other 924's of this age there are no cracks in the dash, seats are great with no tears (but the drivers seat has a small rub mark on the outside edge but nothing to worry about) electric roof works as does the pop up headlamps. Roof bag and load cover present. And as seen in pictures all ident stickers under bonnet and near spare wheel are still present. In the rear it has factory fit seatbelts so no worries if you want to transport the kids safely. I like to point out the faults with cars so you get a good idea what its like, these are minor and have never bothered me and have never got any worse while in my ownership. There is a small chip in the windscreen, lacquer peeling on n/s/f wing around the repeater, front spoiler is slightly stone chipped and has had a few touch ups but not really noticeable and the wheels are corroding in places but not too bad and still clean up nice. This is a good, honest and practical classic car which doesnt cost too much to run, can seat 4 and qualifies for classic insurance which only costs me £160 fully comp a year. Any questions please email and i will respond quickly. I am open to sensible offers but please come and view first then we can agree a price, no silly offers like £1000, a goat and my rusty Ford Fiesta in P/X. LOL As said in the listing this is a genuine sale to fund our next set of wheels, its a private sale and i dont do finance, cash only please. Hard to find in this condition and a future investment. Advertised elsewhere so may be removed. Thanks for looking.
Was £4500, now reduced to £3995 but I am open to sensible offers please try me.
Must go to make way for my new addition, 71 westy
