dizzy question

Hi guys have a 1600tp AD code and has a 009 dizzy at present and i have this on the shelf will this work on my engine

Code reads= JFUR 4
0 231 167 049
113 905 205 A1
It has bosch written on it and a vw logo


if so as it has a twin vac where do they go?

Right googled the part number and comes up as fitted to vw 181 , kafer and karmann ghia?

So I guess it will fit and work but what about the plumbing?

From memory that dissy will work fine if you replace the vac can with a single vac unit and time to 7.5 degrees static advance.

If its not been used for a while, lube and check the weights move smoothly and the springs are in place.

To run a twin vac unit you need the carb with two vac outputs. They werent as good as single vacs - the twin vac was meant to help meet smog standards in cali back in the day.
