From what I remember I just formed a couple of bits of metal over them & self tapped them to the floor (to help duct the heat to the front)

Hello Does anyone have one of these fitted? I fitted one a few years ago and now have an issue that puts the brakes on full when the engine is running (remove the vacuum feed & brakes work normally - all be it unassisted) Has anyone else had this issue - or has an idea what might be causing it...

Is it your battery?? Might be the starter needing a clean out.... just a thought :-)

They may be hex headed bolts than splined ones (had this on mine) Safest bet is to order a new set and get the old ones out any which way you can (vice grips or hammered in splined tool) :-)

Has anyone used the VWHeritage 'best quality' heat exchangers and are they hugely different from the standard ones? ....other than being £38 more expensive??

Check your gearbox coupling too....if its worn or on its way out it can make getting from 2 to 3 a pain

I fitted the one from aircooled works, great service and a doddle to fit

I use Navmii app on a nexus 7...no data required and a big enough screen :D
